I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

hey
weight - 73 kgs, fat 30%
age - 31
sex - F
waist - 30
lower waist - 35
chest - 33
tummy - 33
hip - 38
i have been gyming for 2 months now and
No change:-(
need to get my weight down to 58kg in 3 months( over ambitious but...am determined) Need to tone up and loose the fat(all from bad eating habits and skipping meals)
i have been recommended the stronglifts (by elgon) and am willing to try but always thought lifting weights is more muscular than feminine.
i have no clue or idea on how to do it but will give it a try.
i have access to gym 5 times a week.
Start training tomorrow.
Immediate goal is loose at least 5 kg in one month.

Hey thanks oggynosh,
i have been reading the whole booklet and the links you did forward to day just to familiarise myself with the technic and the necessary steps to take.
I should be brave enough to get to the gym early morning and have a rough idea how to do the stronglifts routine. will keep you posted and let you know how day one went. thanks again.
I have joined the fit day www to monitor my eating habits. i cannot say i have gotten to the 6 times a day routine but managed to get eating four small portions today :)
thanks elgon too for your follow up will call you to get the whole routine if stranded.
take care everyone.

unfortunately elgon won't let me go to sleep with out filling in my comments on my diet!!!
to be honest, i do not know anything much about diets and i eat very healthy but i think am getting the shocker that my healthy is not good enough or wrong apparently horrid!!!!!!!
still trying to figure out what having small meals are?snacks? eating 6 small portions?????? what time?when? how? what?????
the difference between carbs and fat
whats he correct cooking method?
what counting calories is all about?????????? ve gotten to a bad habit of eting 3 times a day somedays 2 ( not intentional) due to job and different working shifts
i know i have a tough shot just moving ahead but one day i will get it but clearly not today

:D
As i explained, posting your diet diligently both at fitday and especially here will get better help and reviews.
The reason I think it is horrid is due to the amounts. The quality I believe will be critiqued by the other members that know more about diet and weight loss but at a glance I would say the carbs/protein/fat ratio is way skewed too.
but you are just starting in so READING is the most important step you will make nxt after the main one you've achieved of getting started seriously.

mikii wrote:i know i have a tough shot just moving ahead but one day i will get it but clearly not today

But try to aim for getting the info TODAY.
The rest comes with actual doing and of course being active among your new support partners at stronglifts. :)
