I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Don't think so, their website is at http://www.cyber-market.com.au.

You can get all the attachments, but I just ordered the dip attachment so I could do away with my pull-up/dip tower and combine it all into one neat looking power rack :)

Found this thread after I ordered mine. Interesting coincidence. I decided to get the 140kg package. It's all yet to arrive, but I'm sure looking forward to it!

Ok Got the rack, bar and incline bench yesterday. Assembled the rack already and it's simple and solid and as a previous poster suggested, is every bit as sexy in person as in the photos. It barely moved a mm with my 95kg brother thrashing out 10 pullups on it. The spotter bars are solid and at least 4kg each at a guess. I will assemble the bench tonight and give it all a good go.

The plates arrive separately, so I'm told.

I signed up for a 12 month membership a year ago and gave up in the end. They had one squat rack in the gym and even though it rarely got used, most of the time (peak periods) people used it for shrugs/curls etc and when I went and asked whether they could curl in the free weights area they gave me a weird look and in some cases I even got into semi-heated arguments with people because apparently they have every "right" to use it (even though it isn't what a squat rack is designed for)

So I bit the bullet, ordered my power rack and haven't been back to the gym for about 6 months and it's the best decision I ever made. It just isn't worth it wasting so much time and energy going to the gym for such agro and so little reward. I was only ever able to get to the gym around 4-5pm each day which is when it's at its busiest. Now I can workout whenever the hell I want, squat barefoot, use chalk, listen to WHATEVER music I want.... the list goes on, but as you can see the decision is not that difficult!

Oh, did I mention I no longer have to share the rack with people wanting to do their shrugs/curls? :D

I recently bought this exact rack, gently used, off my local craigslist. I got REAL lucky as it was only 25 minutes from where I live and he was willing to part with it for $125 USD. :D

As you said, my music, my hours, my weight room. MINE! I love it...

For anyone else interested in these racks, check the second page of my log for a few photos of my setup. I'm loving it.

Damn, this was the package that I wanted to get but hes out of stock on the racks for the next 8 weeks :(

Sourcing an alternative power is killer, I'm looking at $600+(incl shiping) now.

http://www.gymandfitness.com.au/bodymak ... p-246.html

This is what I am examining as an alternative, 2 months is far too long to wait. What I am most curious about is what is the difference between having a bar or the handles for pullups/chins - it seems it would restrict the range of possible hand positions possibly resulting in incorrect positioning for your body.

The shop doesn't know the exact weight for this rack - they estimate 50-60kg.

I am 6' and...no. I have to stand with my feet spread as wide as the rack will allow and bend at the knees so I have clearance.

bummer, i am looking for one that is tall enough to do OHP inside of it. i have watched the dinosaur files and learned about how partial push presses will help increase the full lift. i have done them before at the gym off the rack. but now my new gym doesnt have a rack big enough.

The trade off may be the chin-up bar if you have standard 8' ceilings. You can get around the chin-up space with rings or a rope or towel etc.

I have a York Barbell cage that I got cheap from Craig'slist. York says they haven't sold that model since 1998. It's in perfect shape. I was just looking at what I would have to do to be able to do OHP's in it. If I were to bolt the base to wooden 4X4's or 4X6's, I would have room to do OHP's. I am short enough that I would still have room above the chin-up bar.

I had the same concern when shopping for a rack (I'm 6'3"). The cheapest rack I could find that would allow this is the 96" titan rack:

http://newyorkbarbells.com/pro92580.html

They don't make it very obvious on their site, but in addition to a dip attachment, you can also get low band peg attachments for that rack at a modest price.

In terms of new prices, I think it would be hard to beat this rack if you really want an 8' tall rack. Other options are easily 2x the price or more (e.g. the full or half racks on performbetter.com, or the freaking amazing sorinex basecamp monster of a rack thing). I thought it interesting none of the Elite FTS racks are 8' tall.
