I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Hey everybody,

Well im glad I found this site while browsing for a strength training program.

I have recently started Krav Maga and after first few classes relised how unfit I am. I was quite fit at college but life kind of got in the way and recently I have not done much in the way of exercise. I have now also strarted working in an office and in the last year have just seen the pounds pile on and the muscle waste away. I went from 30 push ups and 15 pull ups to 10 push ups at a push and no pull ups. I found this very frustrating. I was worried about my weight and started focusing on cardio but saw very little results and of course didnt get any stronger.

Now that I have started Krav Maga I am wanting to get some muscle. I have quite active classes and I am going to start some boxing drills to take care of technique and Cardio.

I am going on holiday next week so I am gonna just download the 5x5 beginner program and practice a few reps to try get my technique sorted this week. I am going to get my body fat calculated and start the program when I get back.

I will hopefully keep you all posted and become an active part of theis forum to get advice and hopefully pass on my experiences.
