I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

I afree that its possible that it isn't as effective as it's claimed to be (although i think it is, but thats just me), i do however find it hilarious when people compare to such things as coke lol

I think you're overestimating coke here :). I tried it a couple of times and for me the only physical effect is about the same as a couple of energy drinks. Which sounds like something a stimulant supplement would feel like. Not a random comparison IMO.

I'm not saying the effect wasn't there, just saying it was more psychological (or however you'd say that), making me feel very confident and wanting to talk to everyone, rather than feel pumped or hyped physically.. If you believe that's what coke does, someone probably sold you speed. Ok, this thread is going way off-topic :D. I'll just shut up now.

I know that NOxplode has coffeine. Coffeine increases your blood pressure. To compensate for this, NOXplode also contains Nitrogen Oxide. The nitrogen oxide increases the size of your blood vessels.

To be honest, it sounds like the NOxplode stuff screws around with your system too much.

Might as well take heart medicine and some coffeine before a workout.

Anyways, I'll stick to my banana and protein before a workout, thank you very much. And maybe some coke...lol (not srs)

Some of my friends swear by NO-Xplode and hydroxycut. They got good results using it on and off but now they have a hard time working out without it = that sucks! My PRs are better than his and i have never used NO-Xplode. Just keep in mind that body develops a resistance/tolerance for caffeine and other stimulants. The No-Xplode instruction says not to be continually used for more than some weeks (check the container) I’d suggest use it only when u are stuck in a pleatue again and always “cycle” it, don’t be psychologically dependent on it which it seems you already are (No offences!)

i have been using it for 3 months and wouldnt train without it. also great for endurance and stamina i find. fruit punch or blue raspberry are the best flavours.

I dont use NO xplode but use something called red demon which is similar I guess. I use it on a regular basis before workouts and feel like it makes a difference also. Good stuff them pre workout formulas IMO!

No Xplode will give you more 'energy' then a cup of coffee because it got more caffeine. After 1-2 weeks, this effect will diminish unless you increase your dosage, or stop taking it for at least 4 days. Or gradualy reduce it for a couple of days, take a day or two off, then start gradualy increasing it again.

That's how caffeine works.

Try replacing the No Xplode with, lets say; 4 cups of strong coffee, or about 600 mg caffeine from tablets, and tell me that it dosen't give at least as good effect!?
BTW: Never take such large servings of caffeine if you are not used to taking caffeine.

wise words fredarn. as always, too much of a good thing can be detrimental if you over do it!

A lot of my friends swear by NO Xplode, so I thought I'd give it a try. Honestly, it doesn't do much for me. I tried one scoop & it did nothing, tried 2 & it give me a tiny buzz feeling, tried 3 & it gave a little more, but I have to mix lots of water with it as its not the best tasting stuff (orange).
I find doesn't really make a difference to MY workouts, just makes me feel bloated.
I'm just gonna stick to plain old creatine
