I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Hi Everyone. The weight's getting heavy and I figured I'd throw some more videos up for review.

Squats
This video was taken a couple months ago after a deload @ 300 lbs. I'm at 340 now, but the form is about the same. Looks like my depth could be questionable, but the angle's not great.

OHP
I was at 140 lbs, but I had bad inflammation in my left rotator so I had to quit doing OHP and pullups for two months. This is my first week back at it and I'd really like to get some quality feedback on this one. Here are videos of the last three sets.

Third set from left

Fourth set from behind (no idea why my girlfriend took it with a negative effect)

Fifth set from right (probably should've gone for a sixth rep)

Deadlift

This is at 280 lbs; which is way out of proportion to my 340 lbs squat. It still looks weird to me. Bad set up??

This is my girlfriend busting out some deads at 150 lbs. Her arch looks so much nicer than mine, but she needs to keep the bar closer to her body and push through her heels.

Any feedback you can provide would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Squats lack hip drive out of the bottom. Depth didn't look bad, was hard to tell though.

You could be getting under the bar earlier in presses.

Seems like you're pulling with your arms at the top of the DL and pulling backward, rather than shoving the hips forward. But the setup looked quite good.

I can't tell much about your squat, but what MikeD said -- you're looking straight ahead and leading with your chest the whole time. I thought the press looked good. Deadlift seems fine except for the rocking motion you're doing.

I couldnt see the squat video.

You are clearly very strong at overhead pressing, but you seem to have a lot of lower back arching even when unracking the bar. Contract your abs and glutes hard to straighten your self out a bit. Also your elbows should be in FRONT of the bar to start each rep.

Your deadlift looks fine to me, the backward lean is unecessary but not a problem. Just squeeze glutes hard at the top for your lockout. Setup looks good to me.

Your girfriend is doing something I used to do with deads. She is knocking her knees with the bar on the way down.

To remedy this she probably needs to have her shoulders a bit more forward and hips a bit higher to start. When lowering the bar she she should bend at hips first and lower the bar past the knees carefully.
