I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Only 2 reps on the last set...

I've been working on my pullup/puship/dip numbers lately and on all 3 excercises i've progressed nicely on the first 2 sets, but im always stuck at doing 2 MAYBE 3 reps on the last set.

For example, doing wide pullups i was able to do 5-2-1 when i started 5x5, now im at 10-5-2. I'm getting similar numbers in the dips as well.

Maybe i should be doing less on the first one to save energy for the last ones? Or should i just focus on getting the first set upto 15 and not worry about the latter ones?

Thanks in advance!

Are you going to absolute failure on sets 1 & 2? In that case you might end up having very few reps on the third set.

I would suggest stopping a rep or two short of failure on the first & second set.
