I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

My mindset has changed dramatically since starting this program and interacting with everyone here. I wish more women would reconsider all the stupid things they are told about their bodies and get on board. There'd be a lot more confident women around rather than them whining nothing is good enough because it doesn't look like X.

It's funny you two say that - every woman I've helped (or tried to) with diet and exercise is like that - "I only lost 2 pounds in the last 2 weeks". I always said to remember that it's a long process and a life change, not the "lap band" approach and that they still lost weight.

Keep up the good work, ladies.

I'd be happy with 2 lbs in 2 weeks. But at this point it's not happening. But that's ok because it may only be 2 lbs in a month. It's still progress. I'll take any I can get.

Speaking of which . . . . I bought a bathing suit last night. It's a 2 piece!! I'm terribly pleased.

I met up with my friend last night. 50 minutes of cardio. We're hoping to work it out that we meet up at least once a week. Her schedule at work is crazy (RN at the hospital) so we'll do our best.

As much as we hate cardio, do you think either of us would lie about doing it?

I got your back, PG.

Nice job on the cardio, PG. Hopefully, having a workout partner is helpful.

And LOVE the new smilies...especially the middle finger one

We've been using eliptical machines. I don't like treadmills.
