I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

ok good it.the stronglifts one looks good=)
SO cut down to 60kg 5x5 for my bench and increase each session from there.
So I can do it with the sqat the same way I think cause they are done 2 the week.
Regarding the other exerices I think of substituting the clean for the row.

Should I arrange it that way, that I "peak" on all exercises after 2 months like on the bench (also row, military press etc)-that would needed to start a bit heavier/or increase heavier on the other lifts only done once a week.

I don ´t want it to make it confusing though-but I have to be sure to make all right this time-so I also want the other exercises in good order.

You could. Anyone could. But I think the return you'll see will be minimal right now since you were using the texas method before, doing the SL Advanced program would be very similar. The regular SL5x5 with Increase every workout, would be better for your right now. Different type of Stimulus, it'll give you much more benefit. Once SL5x5 stops working, and progress per workout stops, then the Advanced method would come into play. Just try the normal SL5x5 for a while and see how you benefit. Over complicating things always leads to failure and disappointment.

Remember Lathiel's words! The simplest routine always work best.

Hi guys,

Again thank you for your time and effort for helping me out.
I decided to use the 5x5 stronlifts basic template

As i have seen it uses 2 workouts, which are done 3 x the week.

A
Squat
bench
row
dips

B
squat
military
dead
chin up

AS suggested i WILL start with 60kg for the bench and for the other exercises about 30-40% less of my 5rpm for 5x5 and build up

I am really thankfull for your professional time and advice.
I will keep you updated regarding my progress!

yours,

Sounds good. Yes alternate A&B each workout. Start a training log on the forum to keep track of everything.
