I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Yep, embarrassing but hey. Since I started Stronglifts (espeially since I started eating 'properly') I have been letting out, to put it bluntly, disgusting farts on a regular basis. Is this a normal thing? Will my body adapt to it?

This sounds like the result of an increased milk intake. If this sounds familiar, then do not worry about it, your body will adapt though it is of an annoyance, we know, I know. :) Try with two gallons a day and You will be sh*tting creamcheese.

What did you change about your diet?

Do you have other symptoms than farting, by the way? Cramps, gas pains, irregular bowel movements, anything like that?

Well, personnally, it only happens a lot when I train (I usually train at night : after all the days worth of food) every 2-3 reps ) a fart. But after or before training, not much really. Maybe it has to do with the time of the day: Right now I'm training before going to eat breakfast, and no farting so far (i'm halfway past the whole routine).

It's probably the milk...also eating a lot more eggs, lots more protein in general. No other symptoms, though!

(This is the quickest/largest/best response I've had to a thread on SL so far...and it's about my arse. Brilliant!)

I thin if you increase your vegetables you will be able to digest more of the protein that is making yuo fart.
