I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Any particular reason for the 5kg decrease since tuesday's session?

I usually take it easier on saturdays because I have a rugby match (with injuries) on thursday and rugby training on sunday morning.

This week i went in evening and gym was closing 40min after i got there so did 100kg because I need longer rest times for lifting maxes.

I'm not really sure how to balance the weights of my sessions when I only train twice a week. Ideally I'd have the bench and row on one saturday and the deadlift and ohp the next saturday due to post match tiredness etc. Would it be bad to do bench and row twice in a week then take a week off etc.?

Back to the newly opened gym now. Trained this morning - just a short one because it was before work and the reason for the lower squat weight is no squat rack. I will go up in 5kgs until 100kg since i wouldn't feel comfortable lifting more than that without a rack.

Inverted Rows 3x10

Started complexes yesterday

5sets with 7reps each of the 'bear' complex

20kg
20kg
30kg
30kg
30kg

IT WAS CRUEL. But felt great. You should definitely give it a try on one of the rest days where you have two in a row.

The order of exercises was messed up today but still felt like i had a good session

OHP 5x5 45kg
Deadlift 1x5 125kg
Squat 1x10 60kg
Squat 1x10 75kg
Squat 1x10 90kg
[Just thought I'd try something different w/ the squat especially since I had to do deadlift first]
Pull ups 3x6

I'm adjusting my aims a bit. I want to get my bodyweight back down to 70kg (i'm 74kg at the moment) and then just try and get stronger. I just feel in better shape at that weight
