I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Cream isn't going to fix it, but you know that. Have you had it checked out by a doctor yet? Continuing to work out with an injury like that ain't the smartest way to go about things.

It was a more politely way of saying 'you're not foolish enough to think the cream will fix anything, are you?"

My point is, that you're carrying what sounds like a pretty serious injury. Three months is a long time to continue training like that, and is really unwise. You have no business asking about how best to utilise curls when you are doing nothing to fix this injury. And when I said "fix" I meant what kind of rehab exercises are you doing, what kind of proactive action are you taking.

Please, stop messing around and get your shoulder looked at.

Oh... i do bent-over/side laterals with 3 kgs dumbells and the pain has been decreasing since then. I didnot touch weights for 2 months after the injury. When i got injured i could barely lift my hand, could not sleep properly for some days! Will see a doc soon. Thanks man :D

So your in the same boat as me?Shoulder injuries are bad but they are not as difficult to cope with as knee or back injuries luckily.I may have to get an mri for mine as well.I am absolutely not stressing my shoulders but the pain is just not going away. Its quite mild but increases if i do any shoulder work.I believe its an impingement so just need some more time.In your case i think you would do well to get it treated asap.

I'd take your own advice, Berserker. Absolutely not stressing your shoulders is not the best way to a speedy and full recovery after the initial inflammation has subsided. If there is an impingement in your shoulder, it is caused by something. Just resting will (most likely) not fix this. Go see your doctor or a PT.

I gave two months rest to it then did 3kg dumbell isolation exercises with it, one day while doing pull-ups i heard a crack in my shoulder and the pain reduced by alsmot 80% within seconds... it obviously improved a lot but relapses if i do bench press! Infact it pains a lot while benching even with 20kgs! PT is a must now.
