I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Heks, that a sweet deal - thats about £150 pounds couldn't find anything that cheap anywhere. Where did you get it? I tried looking on ebay but all really expensive. In the meanwhile I'll be stuck in the gym....

Here's mine, just got it all put together today. I've got a Texas Power Bar on order, should be in tomorrow. Most of everything was purchased from New York Barbells. Got the chains from 1st Chain Supply online (free shipping), bands from EliteFTS, and Texas Power Bar from Weightlifters warehouse.

I gotta stop reading forums so damn much after workouts. I see the photos of Jeff's home gym and immediately think, hey yeah, cool gym, I remember these photos from the "how to hang rings" thread on the CF site... ;)

I know how you feel. I'm a bit of a message board junkie too. :) Good eye on catchin' the pic from the CF site.

oh...I couldn't afford that much stuff for a home gym...I just have some 50 lb. sandbags, a shovel, 16 lb. sledgehammer, a sloshpipe filled with water and ball bearings for overhead squats, the corners of the counter in my kitchen for dips, and the iron gym for pullups/chinups. about 100 bucks, but I can do just about everything I need to. I still have a gym membership, but I might cancel...oh yeah, some big@$$ chains and a tire to flip/drag if I'm feeling squirrely

Thanks RJK. Actually, most of the DB's I bought used about 11 years ago. I got the set of pro-style fixed DB's from 25 lbs to 75 lbs in 5 lb increments plus 2 racks for $200. Later, I added the smaller ones up to 20 lbs and bought one set of adjustable handles to go 80 lbs and beyond. A LOT of my stuff was bought used.
