I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Good to see your back, hope your knee is fully recovered especially for squats. Keep it light on your warmups and see how it goes.

When did you start doing dips? Looks like a good idea. I'm sick of trying different ways to do weighted push ups and dips seem a good replacement.

I just started doing dips this session, thought i'd give them a go and see how they are. I might go back to pressups, or alternate between the two. Dips are good but seem to put a lot of stress on my shoulders.

Some measurements

I tried a couple today. They are pretty rough on the shoulders. Not sure if I like them or not. Need a few more sessions to really decide.

Buddy sent me this link today, "Lauren has Britain's Fittest Student Body" made me think of you in uni over there :D (Very NSFW)

Todays lifts:[
Squat 5x5 87.5kg :)
Military Press 5,5,5,4,3 32.5kg - This is tough. I think i've been overtraining my shoulders, i could really use tips on military press if anyone has any, as this is the only lift thats really holding me back (i squeeze my glutes as i press)
Deadlift 70kg 1x5, 80kg 1x5
Pull up negatives
Cardio

Xmas targets:

Squat 5x5: 100kg
Military Press 5x5: 40kg
Bench Press 5x5: 70kg
Deadlift 1x5: 100kg
Waist: 34 inches
Weight: 86kg

Interesting Shox, you got the same xmas squat target as me 100kg, and you weight the same as well, well at the moment anyway, plan on starting gomad for a few weeks, try and put on a little more weight. Will be great if we both acheive this goal. Im sure Corky is hoping to hit 100kg by the end of the year as well.

Corky = CoryK ;) would be a happy man if I get to 100kg by xmas! That would be massive :) I gotta get my clubbing under control if I wanna do that tho :(

Wish I could give you some pointers on the OHP, but I'm having so much trouble myself...What has helped a bit is making sure my chest is out by pushing my delts out far enough that I can rest the bar on them at the bottom of each rep. That also ensures proper grip width. If you're not already, you'll also wanna lean back at the bottom of each rep so that the bar is directly over mid-foot. That way when you press up, the bar travels in a straight a line as possible.

Wish I had more for ya, but I'm in the same spot as you :S
