I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

The midsection is the hardest area to get rid of fat IMO. If you stick to a good diet and strength training you should see good results.
Goals:
Squat- 315 lbs 5x5
Deadlift- 400 lbs 1x5 (regular grip)
Press- 205 lbs 1x5
Current (known) 1RM:
Squat: 371 lbs
Clean: 220 lbs

Dude, you should start paying more attention to the articles in this site...

Stronglifts.com = "Build Muscle & Lose Fat through Strength Training..

If you add more muscle to your body you will burn more calories...

If you're on "bulking" diet you're oviously on a calorie excess, that's good for gaining weight, ... If you want to get rid of your gut you should be cut on the calories but not the protein....
btw, there are a bunch of articles that talk about how you can lose fat doing stronglifts 5x5 ... look for the search function on the blog..
