Let's see if I can actually stick with one of these this time. I keep a training log in my gym back but someone stole it off the bench when my back was turned. Guess they where pretty desperate for an .89 cent used training book. Either way, it's time to start fresh and try to have some accountability other than myself since I have stalled on progress.
My strength stats are from the last time I ran the 5x5 about six months ago. I've switched things up so my stats have dropped a bit but not too much other than my squat due to a bad knee. I'm not supposed to squat at all according to the doctor.

I got into training back in 2005. I had come upstairs and climbed into bed to turn in for the night. After panting for ten minutes, my wife turned to me and said, "Please don't take this the wrong way, but you've put on some weight and I'm afraid your going to have a heart attack." Well, I didn't take it the wrong way, in fact, I blew it off and went to sleep; I thought nothing of it.
The next morning I walked into the bathroom and looked at myself in the mirror. That's when it hit me, I'm FAT! Somehow, I had gone from the 165 pound kid in high school to the 265 pound guy that sits behind a desk all day. The line of Red Bulls, Monsters, and Doritos said it all. That day I decided it was time to start walking to lunch and eating salad. You know, how many people that don't know what they are doing start out with. I lost a lot of weight and dropped to 195 after six months, but I had also lost a lot of muscle (if I even had any to start). Now I was a small guy with little to no muscle.
I started working out and put on a bit of size and more fat. Again, still didn't know what I was doing. I went back up to 230 and cut down to 205 (at 17%BF), now a few years later I'm at 205 at 13% BF and I want to get down to 10%.
