I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Why are we using pounds when most of us here are using kg in our respective countries? I remember somewhere back in this post there was a debate about variations of the lifts such as a box squat or a floor press being included? Have these been dismissed? If not can you make it clear on the initial post?

I just saw this thread and think its a brilliant idea.

Even though my son isnt a member he trains and works in my gym, he also competes at my 100% raw comps.

He is not eligible for your record boards as he is not a member, but these are his best lifts on my record boards in our gym

17yo 70kg - 154lbs
Squat 170kg - 375lbs
Bench 102.5kg - 225lbs
Deadlift 200kg - 440lbs

Total 472.5kg or 1041lbs

Wilks is 354.09

Vids of his lifts are all over our Youtube channel. His best lifts though are the Olympic lifts

Powerclean 112.5kg
Jerk behind head 120kg.

Keep up the good work fellas, I have other bigger stronger guys lifting at my gym, I'll encourage them to join and post up lifts

Tell him to get a log up. I wish I started strength training at an earlier age. I would be so much better than what I am right now.

Im wondering about something. Can I use my front squat PR instead of my back squat PR? Since my front squat is higher than my back squat

Can 2 people use the same email address or will Max need to simply take over my account.

My wife also lifts and is miles ahead in the womans section, would she need a seperate email account as well.

Sorry for the newbie questions, lifting is my thing, not very computer savvy.

I will encourage other clients to join as well, competition is a good thing I figure, its why I started my record boards.

The only difference with my boards is all lifts need to be done in my gym and verified by me.

Stay strong, stay raw

The rules are all in the first post of this thread. Essentially everyone who enters the competition has to have a training log in the forum. Check out the first post here:

I don't know for sure if the forum allows reuse of email addresses for multiple accounts.
If this is really an issue, why not use a separate gmail account for each person ? It's free.

Another question, is it the honor system or do you verify the lifts someway?

Do lifters need to send in vids?

We take your word for it.
If you claim you made some lift and in reality you did not, it's your problem.

Couple of questions for the organizer. Sorry if they've been answered somewhere in the preceding 26 pages of posts.

  1. Do all three lifts have to be done within a certain time period - say three hours, or can they be done on different days?
  2. For BP, does the bar have to be seen to rest motionless on the chest before being pressed, or is a slight bounce it off the chest allowed? This can make up to 30 or 40lb difference.
  3. Why is atypical1's raw total (1155) not recognised above Rugger's (1152) in the overall rankings?
  4. Can old buggers join in?

Thanks
