I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

I have a 102 fever, chills, body aches, etc. However, I'm curious to see whether or not I'll have the willpower tomorrow to finish a work-out. Any advice?

Don't push it. Sounds like it's really the flu and not just some sniffles. I'd recommend that you let your body focus on killing the bugs for a day or two.

NO.

Your body needs all your calories to fight germs. If you work out, here are some of the potential problems:
-you won't be able to lift as much; your body is going to try to use more calories to fight germs and not bother to think about lifting weight.
-you might faint while lifting. REALLY BAD.
-your fever might get worse because of the extra stress, causing you to go to the emergency room.

That's just the beginning. Don't do it.
