I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. :lol: But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Might not seem like much compared to everyone else, but I'm now squatting more than my boydweight for 5x5 (65kg squat, 62kg BW).Also deadlifted 70kg for 1x5. Both PRs...every little counts, right?

Squatting more than your bodyweight for reps is good by any standard. Deadlifting 100kg is a good next goal :wink:

Cheers - getting squat & deadlift to 100kg will be a major milestone! Just hope my upper body strength can catch up at some point :mrgreen:

Rep PR on Wendler's 5/3/1 Today

Postby NewWorldMan on Sat Oct 24, 2009 7:28 pm

Deadlift = 325x8

I've gotten 315x9;335x6;350x5 prior.

Planning on testing one rep maxes on 11/21/09!

According to the 'formula' (weight x reps x.0333 +weight= est. 1 RM) I'm just over 410, so it's looks like '4 wheels' is doable' on the 21st! :-)

Vitals: 38 years old: 6'3" 230

back Squat 315lbs x 1

Deadlift 315lbs x 5
He's going to get better results than you. Why? Because you go through the motions of training with all the intensity of a fat guy channell surfing, and He leaves blood on the barbell.

I mutilated two pairs of boxers in a week - does that count as a PR?

Perhaps it's time to invest in compression shorts...
