I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Perhaps it's time to invest in compression shorts...

I read that post before and thought to myself how rude it was to brag about beating people up.. I just read the 2nd line and now realise I am in fact a moron.

Couple recent PRs, mostly because I'd never done the lifts that much.

Close grip bench press 100kg. This was plaguing me for so long. Now I have finally benched 2 plates. I feel a lot more confident when I lie on the bench now. I found a position for my own maximum leg drive. You have your feet out in front of you when you lie down. Move your feet out to the sides as far as you can. Then move then in towards you as far as you can. I got optimal leg drive without my ass coming off of the bench.

Goals: @75kg BW. 150kg squat, 100kg bench and 170kg deadlift.

Deadlifted 1x5 at 315 lbs. It was really great to get the reps with three plates per side. And I shouldn't have difficulty continuing to progress.

Big day for me!

100kg for 5x5, along with a PR of 80kg 5x5 for bench and 40kg 5x5 for barbell row (just started these recently, so it's not really a huge PR). Sure feels nice to join the 100 kilo squat club.

Looking at 1.25xBW (107.5kg) for the next big one!

Missed a big PR of 82.5kg bench for 5x5 by ONE REP on the 4th set. Still a PR though. Hopefully a more solid one next week.
