I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

I took myself off the list because I completed a 5x5 session of 70.4 kg (155lbs) tonight!!! The first 3 sets were really good, the 4th was ok and the 5th was slower cause I was starting to get tired. It feels great though. When I first saw this challenge, it was my goal to complete this challenge and not stall. We will see how long i can ride this train before it happens. I'll update my training log tomorrow.

This started as a friendly challenge from nburge on my log, as he saw what my goal was for this year. markg naturally couldn't help himself, and added to the mix and as the three of us were all at about 42.5kg, we were up for it. Since then others have expressed interest, and this seems to be growing, so I thought it best to start a separate post - Poor old excylist has had his log filled recently with our rantings!

If still possible, put me on this list too. I achieved 5x5x47.5kgs yesterday so now I'm in love with this lift ;-)
