In thinking/reading more about all this, I keep coming back to the conclusion that you will always be right, regardless of your view.
If you don't want to believe in affirmations, the power of mind, law of attraction, then you'll look and (always) find reasons why it doesn't work. This will entrench your view and you'll feel more right and correct on the subject and over time that view will generally be how life is for you as it's become a constant, a given. Which is fine, but that's the best you can ever do with this subject, that's the most you'll ever get out of all this.
On the other hand, if you do believe, the same thing happens; you'll look and find reasons why it does work, this will entrench your view and you'll feel more right and correct on the subject and this will generally be how life is for you. And the best you can get from this way of living far outweighs the "doesn't work" approach.
