I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Whether you were tired or not all that deadlifting and rack pulls would leave you pretty fried anyway - nice work :)

that was almost 4t of weight moved, 3950kg according to my quick calculation.

3x180kg is great! the 500lbs aren't far - that's only 26kg more than 200kg. like nothing for you... do you have a projected date for that weight?

Thanks guys.

Helm - no specific date set - not going to tie myself down too much - although hoping before the year end but that's not set in stone.
It will happen when it's right.

Good pulls, Mouse.
It will be interesting to see what you accomplish when the OHP falls under the same kind of scrutiny you've been applying to the DL!

Wednesday 04 November 09
5/3/1/ Cycle 1 - Wave 3 - Press Day

40kg x5
45kg x3
52.5kg x6

27.5kg 3x10

Arnold DB Press - 10kg - 3x10

Grip - 10kg - wind up / down 3x4

Very good WO tonight. Pleased to get 6 reps out with 52.5 considering i've not been pressing for a while before starting on 5/3/1.
Grip training left my forearms bulging - shame they don't stay that way

Deload Wave next - falls quite well as i'm away for a couple of nights next week so will only be training Monday and Friday.
Then onto Cycle 2 - happy days.

Grip - 10kg - wind up / down 3x4

Is that with a length of pipe and winding a plate up and down with a bit of rope?
That is KILLER on the forearms, huh? Great w/out, Mouse.

It's about 1.5' of garden fence post I had left over from making my dipping bars.
Currently standing on a small step ladder to gain additional height.
Definatley a good WO for the forearms.
