I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Moment of madness?
Thought popped into my head after all the talk of 12" or 14" boxes that mine was only 11.5". Thought i'd see what it was like with the box higher (stacked a couple of 5kg plates on it) - must be mad.

But that one looks good - it will let you vary your grip more.
It's similar to Willie's rack shown on this page.

Hi Mouse

Was it from Powerhouse fitness? I just ordered one and am hoping it will have the same as the handles in the pic.

Yes - mine was from Powerhouse - the one in the picture you posted is probably a newer model

Wednesday 17 June 09
Squats - 110kg 5x5
Press - 45kg 3x5
DL - 155kg 1x5
Chins - BW 6x2

Squats - still good
Press - starting to feel heavy - nearing the dreaded 50
DL - steady away
Chins - horrible

Good lifts tonight

Nice squats, Mouse. Should we assume that all your squats are box squats unless otherwise noted?
Great DL, too.
Glad to see you got the rack put together. Anyone hung laundry on it yet? ;)

More like the other way around - all squats are normal squats unless otherwise noted !

Rack? - haven't changed my rack - was just answering a query for kinster.

Good luck holvoetn, I just did this yesterday - the three of us have very similar strength on the deadlift!

Left hand did not hold ... only 3x160kg. Back and legs were not an issue, just that damned hand letting go.
Will post my log entry in a couple of minutes (first need some glasses of milk and some eggs ;) )

PS me old ? You know that remarks makes it worse for you since I am older so in a competition I win at equal lifts :D

3x160 still not to be sneezed at especially with a dodgy finger.
Good lift H

They're all in my log.

Latest are here and a vid here.

Where abouts in Leeds are you? May be worth contacting Rere - he's based in Leeds - possible training partner?

3 posts - time to introduce yourself and start a Training Log yourself - jump in.
