tired legs

I started the StrongLifts program 3 weeks ago, and started roughly at 135lbs for squat, bench, deadlift, and a bit less for overhead press. I`ve been working out for about 7-8 years, and this is the first time I`ve done a workout with squats 3x a week. I also play soccer twice a week, and swim 1 mile twice a week.

I`m finding my legs exhausted all the time, still no issues doing my workouts, but just walking around they have that tired feeling. Is there something I can add to my diet that might help me out, I`ve knocked down my carb intake quite a bit, and cut back on sugars, i also thought maybe I wasn`t getting enough protein, but i`m up around 150-160grams, I weigh 200, 6` tall, and about 12-15% body fat.

any tips would be appreciated.

thanks,

If you weigh 200, you need to get around 200 gm protein every day. Moreover, you're working your legs five times a week, leaving the poor bastards no time for recovering. No wonder they 're tired all the time. Look around to squatting only twice a week & arrange it so that you get at least a day between your squats & soccer.

Another thing - load yourself with carbs right after your workouts & soccer. Your body will thank you for it.
