I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

great books.
another one i think you would like very much for the inspiration section are the books by Masaro Emoto. you can google him. i think he has 2 books, mostly with pictures. he photographs water crystals. basically, he subjects water to different thoughts, feelings, and prayers from different people , as well as different kinds of music, and even symbols on paper, and then freezes the water. then he photographs the ice crystals.
he has also shown what water looks like from different sources, pure water from different parts of the world, tap water from different cities, etc.
basically the ice crystals totally change to reflect the vibrations they were subjected to. also, he showed that unhealthy water from impure sources can be made beautiful again with just prayers, mantras and love!
i realize i am sounding new agey, but seriously, its not.
his books have inspired so many around the world, showing how love and prayer and affirmations are so powerful, even from long distance. really opens up my heart. and people would surely not be fighting as much with their partners and children, and being hurtful towards people, if they could see this.

ok, here's another one: "the Tao of Pooh".
its the winnie the pooh story, retold from a daoist perspective, with a lot of daoist wisdom.
a very beautiful book, easy and fun to read, yet with very profound and simple wisdom.
