I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Training Logs Ordered by Body-weight, Age & Gender

Keeping a training log is one of the best ways for you to maintain motivation and track your progress. Another benefit is getting encouragement and advice from other lifters. The best way to get people commenting on your log is to comment on theirs.

This list exists for you to find other stronglifts forum members based on their bodyweight, age and gender. To add your name to the list, use the quote function on this post, add your name and a link to your training log under the appropriate headings- bodyweight, age, and if applicable, 'females'. Don't change or delete anything else. The mods will take care of the rest.

Please note that sometimes people stop updating their log, for whatever reason. Some of the logs on this list may be inactive. You can check the date of the last post in the log to gauge how current it is.

I can't help feeling there should be a phpBB mod that achieves this more easily. Maybe something with groups?

Wow Mehdi, that was a quick response, thanks!

So we quote the first post and insert our name + training log link under the appropriate weight and age classifications?

I think it should be the last post we quote, so as to include all previous updates.

If you find anything let me know, will be happy to include it.

@corejack
You're welcome, thanks again. Use last quote as grole said, unless first post is already updated by mods.

Great idea! Might be handier if everyone just posts his name, age, weight and training log? I'll just follow the rules for now :).

Make an example of how that would look like so I understand what you mean. My first answer would be that people will want to search based on age/weight/gender first, so categories based on that is easier.

I mean if people just post:
Age, Weight
Link to training log with name

Like

Luco
22 yrs old, 176 lbs

Mod adds the link to the table at the correct place. This would probably make it easier if people start posting at the same time (I can't imagine anyone on the forum not wanting to get in on the action), not having to reply to the last post anymore. And it might save some thread space and post deleting.
But maybe I'm underestimating the mods and they can arrange everything fine the way it is. My knowledge on forum moderating is pretty non-existent..

[updated - ideally, we want people to quote the most recent version of the table, and edit that, so we can just cut and paste that back into the first post]

The reason we prefer the quote is because it makes our job easier ;)
