I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Trouble with BW Squat..front squats?

I reached a bodyweight squat of 175 for 4x5 (last set I only got 3) on Wednesday, and on Friday when I went to the gym my legs and knees were so sore I could barely get 135 for the 5x5. So when I go in on Monday I'm considering doing front squats for that workout and possibly the rest of the week as assistance for my back squat, and not doing backs at all until next week. Advisable?

When you stall, you must retry with the same weight for a total of up to 3 workouts, then deload by 20% If you still stall.

What is your thinking behind switching an exercise for another one if you stall?
