I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Hi,

I'm turning to you guys once again (I guess you all know the guy with back pain by now^^) because my google skills fail me.

I recently noticed that rotating the spine (In this case a dynamic windmill stretch) gives me reproduceable back pain.
Well more of a occassional sharp pain when flexing the spine than real, constant back pain, but nonetheless.

I made totally sure that my lower back was arched, so it shouldn't be a flexion issue?

I feel like I'm on to something as I can now remember that one of my first cases of severe back pain was triggered by rotation (shoveling or whatever it was), yet I can _not_ find any good information on the net!

anybody with a similiar case or an idea where to find information?

I remember reading about "torsional capacity" in "Low back disorders" by McGill, but I had to return the book a long time ago...
