I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Bench Press

Hang Power Clean
5x5 45lbs
easy and I think I have the form down.

Pushups
3x5 with 5 lbs on back

Squat
5x5 135lbs
Yay 1 plate already. Still easy :)

Overhead Press
5, 5, 3, 3, 3 75lbs
Only had 10 minutes left to do this so I rushed and failed just like last week...

Deadlift
1x5 135lbs
really easy, still adding

Pullups
9 6 4
I rushed the rest between each and I don't think I gave it my all because I have done 13 9 7 before.

Overall happy today :)

2/13

squat
5x5 150lbs
its getting pretty hard. 15 lbs above bodyweight.

Overhead Press
5x5 70lbs
Hard again, might stall at 75 again.

Deadlift
1x5 95lbs
need to think of pushing thorugh my heels instead of pulling the bar up

Chinups
10 7 6

When can I start adding weight on these?

Hi Vic,

From http://stronglifts.com/how-to-do-pull-ups-and-chin-ups-with-proper-technique

" Once you can do 10-15 Pull-ups or Chin-ups in a row, add weight to keep the exercise challenging."

2/25/09

Squat
5x5 165lbs
pretty heavy, last rep of the last set took a while to finish. Or so I thought. I felt like I was stuck at the middle but persevered and threw it up like nothing :)

Overhead Press
5x5 80lbs
Yes! Personal 5x5 record

Deadlift
1x6 105lbs
Still going to progress only using 5lbs each time.

First workout I get to learn from

Squat
5/5/5/2/0 with 170lbs
Form went to heck on the last 2 sets.

Bench
5/5/5/5/4 with 105lbs
2 minutes rest between all sets except between 4th and 5th only had enough time for 30 seconds rest. Will get it next time.

Power Clean
3x5 70lbs
still easy and still my favorite excersize

I'm really beginning to like these

Squats
5x5 165lbs
After failing on 185 the past 3 workouts I deloaded and it still feels heavy...

Bench press
5x5 120lbs
Barely got it today. Only 10lbs away from my bodyweight too.

Power Clean
3x5 90lbs
I absolutely love power cleans and the last time I maxed on a rest day I was able to do 135lbs!

Weighted Pushups
2x5 25lbs and 1x5 45lbs
Felt a little risky today and after the first two sets I felt like doing more and got it. One of my goals already gone :)

Weighed myself today at 132 :)

Squats
5x5 175lbs
Really hard

Bench press
5,5,4,4,5
Sigh, third and fourth sets I took 6 minutes rest between and still couldn't even get it then I take a 5 minute rest before the last and got it all.

Power Clean
3x5 95lbs
I absolutely love these, can't wait until I get to body weight for 3x5!

Weighted Pushups
3x5 27.5lbs
Easy still but a little harder than expected because of failing on bench.

4/10/09

Squats
5x5 175lbs
really easy today :)

Overhead Press
5x5 85lbs
Pretty good, trying to get up to 95lbs this time. Got to 90 last time deloaded and now almost back.

Deadlift
1x5 175lbs
Finally started deadlifting at school where I have more weights. Only 135lbs today.

Pullups
3,3,9
Today I really sucked the first two sets, I struggled through 3 and then struggled again through 3 but somehow on the last set I was determined and no matter how tired I felt I kept going back above that bar.

Next time I am going to do pullups then chinups then pullups and do that from now on.

Today is the second day I am trying the Super Squats routine. 1x20 is extremely hard even with the low weights I have available at home.

Squat
1x20 100lbs
At one point I just wanted to throw the weight off of my back because I don't like holding it for that long. I just kept thinking this weight is crushing me I should throw it off right now right onto this dang floor. Good thing the competitive side of me wouldn't let that happen. :)

Overhead Press
5x5 90lbs
Pretty easy. Only struggled on the last rep. Finally next time I will get to 25s on each side. :)

Deadlift
1x31 135lbs
All my weights and that is my bodyweight today so I am very happy with the 31 reps I got but I think I could have done much more if my grip didn't start failing because of the sweat.

No assistance excersizes today and time for food then an hour of tv then sleep.
