    I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. :lol: But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Thursday 22/10/09:
3x5 Squat: 85kg. 5kg away from 1.5 x bw! Getting ****ing hard now, though
OHP - stalled on the fourth set at 27.5
Deadlift - 80kg
Out due to a hernia! Back (on SS+GOMAD) mid-April
Goals: Back to max lifts (below) in 2 months. 68kg (lean) by 30/7
Max Lifts: 65kg Bench (1x5), 100kg Squat (3x5), 140kg Deadlift (1RM)

Saturday 24/10/09:
Bloody awful session.

Squat - 90kg (1.5 x bw!) 5/5/3! So gutted.
Bench - Couldn't only manage 1. No idea why.
Inverted rows, dips and everything else went completely fine.
Out due to a hernia! Back (on SS+GOMAD) mid-April
Goals: Back to max lifts (below) in 2 months. 68kg (lean) by 30/7
Max Lifts: 65kg Bench (1x5), 100kg Squat (3x5), 140kg Deadlift (1RM)

Wednesday 28/10/09:
Got moved forward a day as I had to skip Muay Thai on Monday.

Squat - 90kg 3x5 - I DID IT!
OHP - 27.5kg - I didn't do it! 5/5/4/3/nothing
Deadlift - 85kg 1x5 - Just. Grip almost gave out, though.
Out due to a hernia! Back (on SS+GOMAD) mid-April
Goals: Back to max lifts (below) in 2 months. 68kg (lean) by 30/7
Max Lifts: 65kg Bench (1x5), 100kg Squat (3x5), 140kg Deadlift (1RM)

Ok, so I missed last Friday's session for various reasons. I think a week off may have done me some good, however - I managed all the lifts. Only just, but I managed them. Had to switch to 3x5 on the bench as I'm quite short on time nowadays

Wednesday 04/11/09:

Squat - 95kg 3x5
Bench - 55kg 3x5
Inverted rows, dips, crunches, all fine.

Friday's workout will bring the dreaded 100kg squat...wish me luck!

Today was a mix...

Friday 06/11/09:

Squat - 100kg 3x5!!!!! That was one of my "before xmas" goals...sorted.
OHP - Couldn't do this for some reason. At all. Deloading next time. Sets went 5/1/nothing

Congrats on the 1,5xBW Squats! That is quite the milestone here aboard ;)
Just found your log in the "Training Log Thread", and since we are in the same position about weight gain and everything, it will be interesting to follow your progress. ;)

I'm pretty sure you're not hitting proper depth on the squats. If you're lifting with good technique, your deadlift will be higher than your squat.

Still, you got some pretty solid lifts for your size! But I think it'd be a good idea to step back and get your technique and depth checked out on your squat!

I think the main reason my deadlift's lower than my squat (it's not any more btw, this log's been neglected somewhat) was that I hadn't stalled on either squats or deadlift, and increasing the weight twice a week vs once a week on deadlift will be why it's jumped ahead!

Just thought I'd give an update:

Squats, dropped back to 92.5kg 3x5 to work on my form
Deadlift, hit a new PR of 110kg, although it felt like my arms were about to drop off
