I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

More stuff to inspire women to join this forum, there's just not enough women here and I know that every attempt at this regime gets me way stronger than the standard gym formula.Especially more hints on increasing upper body strength to cope with chin ups etc, - they are so hard and I always fail but get stronger in the effort.

orrr.. for me it i would like something very simple. stuff that people would think i know but i don't. like i always go across the forum reading 400g protein, 20% fat in food etc. i have no idea what it means. i look at the label and i am clueless. so i jsut eat what i think is "right" and i still cant figure out completely how to cacluate how much protein/carbs/fat i am eating. so a little guide on reading labels ? since i am one of those spooiled college kid age 20 and never really step into the kitchen till i first started lifting, i have no idea how to measure food and stuff.

A blank training log so you could track your work out on paper. I know you have the log on digits, but also seeing a visual example would be helpful for the newbies who have never taken a pen and paper to the gym.

I love the program!!!

I would like a e-book on mental training and then for strength training part. How you should while you are there training, before and after training. How training helps your mind, and how your mind helps your training :)

Actually, I have gone deep into mental training, Meditation is good, I actually go to my own special sanctuary during class sometimes when i'm bored O.O. Mental training goes way deeper then you think. I have talked to professional athletes about it, and it's a bit crazy, some of the stuff i wish I could unlearn cause it's hard to control once you know it. Google it and research it, although some stuff needs to be stumbled upon with luck.

Hmm...i'd really like it if Mehdi would be able to put on some good protein sources in Indian food in the new version of the ebook.

I'm especially asking this because Indian diet is absolutely different from what's eaten in the rest of the world. It's very high in carbs and low in proteins.
For example, we don't have easy access to fish like tuna, sardines, salmon. Instead we have river fish like rohu, hilsa and some other fish whose English names i don't know unfortunately. And that too we eat it in a curry form, with rice and vegetables. There's no Indian meal without the rice and/or roti. Apart from this i eat chicken or lamb twice a week and dal(lentils) with every meal when i'm at home.

It would be really nice if Mehdi could profile the protein content of some Indian river fish along with lentils.

This really bugs me cuz i can't even list my daily diet and ask people to comment on it cuz i doubt many would be familiar with Indian foods and how conducive/not conducive they are to building muscle and losing fat.

And thanks a lot Mehdi...you've really started a small revolution on your own

I know it goes deep, but I go the other way. No thinking and it is so much better :)
Thinking is ok when you need to solve a problem, but use it and then stop. You should read Eckhart Tolle's book Power of now. It's awesome :)

To see if that would affect my performance, and if it does with how little/much?

Would like to see some programs for next steps after running through the advanced 5x5 stuff. And some tips on gaining again after stagnating. Maybe something about dealing with injuries.

Injury is when you really are limited in your movements.
Especially with the back it should be rather clear.

Soreness is just a funny feeling. It also hurts a bit, but it should not at all limit you in your ability to move.
I prefer to be called 'H' ;)
