I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

I look at the h4wt chixxorz.

Except at the end when I'm doing deadlifts, then I lie down between sets and try to hold back my puke.

I ogle the guys in the gym, drink water, write down my progress, rub some more chalk on my hands, ogle the guys some more. I tend to stand up all the time and keep moving - pace around, go say hi to the gym owners at the front desk, check out what's going on in the strongman training room.

1 - Check the eye candy
2 - Laugh at young lads trying to get big doing 1/4 squats and bicep curls
3 - Drink water
4 - Psyche up for next set

I wish there were more women like mazikins in my gym! ;)

Depends how taxing the set I just did was. Squats often seem so taxing if I stay standing still I actually shake, so it's either wander about if I've got the place to myself, or take a nice comfy seat on the spotter pin and try not to look condescendingly at the guy next to me oh so subtly watching me and trying to get the one up with teh quarter squatz.

When I did multiple deadlift work sets a little while ago I would zonk out on an adjustable incline bench for a few minutes- lovely for the lower back

This morning, in the rests between Squat sets, I found myself walking across the weights room as if I were on the surface of the moon. It was a bit like that trick where you stand in a doorway with your arms pressed against the door jam for a few minutes and then your arms just lift into the air when you step away - well, my thighs were doing that after each set of 5.

sit down and force steady breating, sip some water, try to keep focus for the next set, evaluate the last set.
if my h.r. feels a bit high beacause of heavy weights on squats or deadlifts, i lie down on the bench. back feels better and i recover sooner doing so
