I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Hmm ... no avatar so far.
I would put a picture of myself but really need to look for it then because mostly it is me on the other side of the camera taking the pictures ... ;)
I prefer to be called 'H' ;)

Mehdi, has anyone ever told you that your avatar looks like a strange hybrid of actor Hugh Jackman and professional wrestler Dave Batista?

My avatar is action film extraordinaire Jason Statham. Mostly because he's a badass.

Mine is of Scary from the UK kids TV show Little Robots - we have kids tv on most of the time because of the babies, and I just happen to like the character!

Sean, as a British person, I cannot understand how Jason Statham has gotten so much work in Hollywood. He couldn't act his way out of a paper bag! I think I'm right that he wasn't even a professional actor when he got his part in Lock, Stock & Two Smoking Barrels.

Fair play to him though, he's done not bad for himself!

Nice thread Mehdi.

My avatar is the famous sculpture of David by Michaelangelo. I've always thought the physique as ideal one & would like to achieve it one day.

Mine is a great picture of a toothless Jack Lambert. Lambert was an undersized middle linebacker for the Pittsburgh Steelers American football team. What he lacked in size he made up for in tenacity and will to exceed. Over the course of his career, he set the standard for middle linebackers to follow. Not just on a Pittsburgh team, but throughout the National Football League. Oh yeah, he's in the NFL Hall of Fame and is a four-time Super Bowl champion. He was my hero when I played middle linebacker in high school.

Super saiyan goku, from dragonball z. I use to watch it as a kid and I guess my love has been re-ignited, mostly through playing budokai tenkaichi 3 in my down time.

Mine is a child's picture of Iron Man, from the website of the Iron Man film.

I always associate the name Iron Man with being tough, strong and doing weights. I don't like to take myself too seriously though, hence the kiddies pic. Made me laugh when I saw it first time :)
