I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

I love this site for a few reasons. One, this is a no nonsense workout that is designed to make you stronger and healthy first, then muscular, which means ppl here arent vain and self absorbed (aka- have little real self esteem). Guys here are encouraging and helpful. I have posted 5 or 6 quesitons in areas I was having trouble with and I get fast and quick advice, which in turn has motivated me to answer questions I have learned during my time spent here and in the gym.
I also love how the site is set up and covers all areas of health, not just the muscle parts.

Im glad I tripped over this site when trying to find new workout ideas 3 months ago....I now squat 210lbs and bench 165lbs! My goal for squats is 265lbs and I will get there. Before I started my goal for bench was my body weight (which was 175lb at the time and 27% body fat, now Im 182lbs with 18% body fat) now my goal is higher bc I know I can!

Hard work pays off which means easy work is worthless.

I absolutely love this site!
I've recently justed became a member and amped on starting the program tomorrow. Since i've been here i can't get myself off the site. Reading and browsing through the forum is absolutely amazing. There's always something to learn and just when I have a question to ask, I already find the answer to my question. I get a great amount of motivation seeing that other people in the world had the same problem and look where they are now, people with more confidence and strength.\

I don't think I can thank you enough :)

I really like this site, and joined because it resonated with me with my core values of learning to be a better person, and without the bs stuff.

And the 5x5 is simple, simple and very doable.
