I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Eagle Spread - The White Room (my old band - a dirty song about dirty women)

Be Safe - The Cribs
Aerials - System of a Down
Tommy Gun - The Clash
Sky Starts Falling - Doves
Wardance - Killing Joke
Grapes of Wrath - Spear of Destiny
Resurrection Joe - The Cult
The Fly - U2

Music stirs emotions in all of us all in different ways. These songs represent moments in my life (being in a band, getting pissed/stoned for the first time, getting married, getting divorced, getting pissed & stoned even more, single life, getting married again, recording an album and touring, growing up, having kids, starting a healthier lifestyle etc etc) that trigger aggression or a sense of accomplishment/pride. The song may not be particularly upbeat but it stirs something inside that makes you want to do the best at whatever you are doing at that time.

Pop music (and that covers grunge, metal, RnB, indie, disco or whatever the music press call the various genres this month) is an art-form. If a song makes someone happy or inspires someone then it's positive no matter what it sounds like to anyone else. It's all relative. :D

After watching some Brooks Kubik videos I decided to try working out while listening to Wagner.

It didn't work well for me. All I kept thinking about was invading Poland. Weird.

This song, over and over and over again.
"The game may only be to move a ball forward on a dirt field, but the task can be accomplished with an unshackled joy and its memories will be a permanent delight."

Are u serious Rugger?
He's going to get better results than you. Why? Because you go through the motions of training with all the intensity of a fat guy channell surfing, and He leaves blood on the barbell.
