I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Manic Street Preachers (especially Everything Must Go and The Holy Bible)
Prodigy - Music for the Jilted Generation
Franz Ferdinand
Queens of the Stone Age - Songs for the Deaf
Daft Punk
Scissor Sisters

And for individual songs:
Song 2 - Blur (woooooo-HOOOOOOOO!)
Blister in the Sun - Violent Femmes
Fight for your right - Beastie Boys
Teenage Kicks - The Undertones
Whole Lotta Rosie - AC/DC (Rosie may have it all but I use it as a cautionary tale ;)
Where's Your Head At - Basement Jaxx
My Favourite Game - The Cardigans
Standing in the Way of Control - The Gossip
Golden Skans - Klaxons
Love Shack - B-52s

What music do you listen to while you're working out?

I'll listen to anything while I'm working. Anything from Merle Haggard to Marilyn Manson to Rammstein to Sigur Rus. Doesn't matter to me as long as it drowns out the noise from the rest of the gym. I use the music to create a pool of isolation for myself so I can focus on my own thoughts and what I'm doing, or to completely float away. If I'm running or doing cardio then I want to hear Bad Religion or something else that's "punk"-ish. Old .45 Grave is great for that. Also: Lords of Acid.
