I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

I don't mean regular news sites or travel/weather sites, but hobby/interest sites or just anything different and interesting. People often dismiss weightlifters as single-topic obsessives, but I'd love to see the wide range of things that interest members here.

I'm not ashamed to say that I regularly consult Ian's Shoelace Site. Currently wearing boots that are ladder-laced with "hangman's noose" nots and I use a secure double knot on my running shoes and lifting shoes.

Your favourite sites must be more interesting than that ;)

youtube? :)

You confused me ). It seems there are not much sites I have been using last several months.
I used to read forum at bodybuilding.com. Lots of funny shit there, useful for me to learn different aspects of English language )

Occasionally reviewing handful of blogs at livejournal.com.

And, google.com, it is my favorite. Along with wikipedia.com.

I'm a fan of Dan from http://www.dansdata.com. He's a really smart guy with very broad interest in things technical, ranging from computers, torches, cameras, and plenty of other nerdy stuff.

He's also quite big on uncovering frauds and dodgy products of all sorts, the types that don't quite seem to fall under the laws of physics. Excellent writing style and very funny guy.

One of my favorite sites is http://www.friesian.com. The site's owner, Kelley L. Ross, Ph.D, is a retired professor of philosopher from Southern California. The site is full of articles on all things philosophy. Very interesting stuff. (Although, it should be noted, Ross has a very particular stance on philosophy, so the site isn't, and doesn't claim to be, neutral in perspective.)
