I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

For me, it's a swing between the squat & deadlift - sometimes one is a favourite, sometimes the other. Right now, I voted for squats. But I see from the votes that deadlift wins hands down.

This is surely the only favourite lift poll on the internet where Bench is nearing last place lol!

Nice to see a lot of love for the deadlift, i know i already voted but i would say this would be my second choice and its for a similar reason to the OHP and has mentioned by people before. I find the OHP and Deadlift to be the two most natural lifts, pulling something off the floor and pressing something overhead.

Anyway lets see some more love for the OHP :P

Deadlift for sure, I feel like a fucking beast when I pull heavy.

Power clean is my favorite. The strength and power benefits are obvious, but I like the technical challenges as well... something about constantly tweaking form and working towards technical proficiency is very fulfilling.

No barbell row?? If I had to pick now it would likely be squat or deadlift, but I started BB rows yesterday and I have a feeling those are going to be my lift of choice!

Edit: I picked squat for now, but if one of the mods can add BB row I think I would go for that :D

Overhead Press. Every 2.5kg increase is just amazingly satisfying. When I get those big 20kg wheels overhead for reps I'll be a happy man.

Deadlift is a close second. It always gets attention in the gym even though I'm not doing a big weight yet.

Deadlift. I like them with the snatch grip for a little extra violence on the traps and hams.

Squats. I like deadlifts but then deadlifts have been the easiest lifts for me all the way along. Squats, though; I hated squats before I started this program and now I get the biggest sense of achievement from them.

The clean and snatch, I love lifting big weight over my head in a explosive way.

Squats and deads are 2 different beasts, and I love them equally. :D

I picked deads, though.

Squat cos it is an ego booster for me and I feel like a manly man. LOL. Deadlifts and OHP come in a close second.

I absolutely HATE bench press

Wow! So far deads are way in front of every lift. I honestly expected squats to take the lead and leave deadlifts way behind.
