I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Did anyone see the weigh-in for Haye vs Valuev?

Haye would be the absolutely ideal physique...doubt I'll ever be getting it, but hey!

Lesnar is like a toy Action figure, looks like such a meathead that he seems fictional.

always reminded me of the character in small soldiers:

As for this whole physique thing. I would like to look like a more muscular me. Basically whatever I look like with a 4xBW deadlift or when able to do powercleans in excess of 1.5xBW - I would be chuffed with that.

I have a similar height/build to that Ivan stoitsov and reckon if I persevered with lifting for at least ten years I may look similar by the end but with less visible abs.

90's Henry Rollins (sans tattoos)

I'll admit, I'm biased because I enjoy just about anything the man does, but he's got a good look to him. Not a fitness model look, but that rough, thick, strength training look.

yeah always thought HR has a nice physique. do you have any idea what kind of training he's into, just for curiosity's sake?

you're right lol, he does look like that character. however i think lesnar looks like he's been doing proper strength training for years...he has that heavy thickset, deep muscled look as opposed to some of the other guys mentioned who, to me, look small framed & fitness modelly. to me lesnar looks extremely strong as opposed to just training his "show" muscles for vanity purposes. his frame is what he needs & uses to be world heavyweight champ.

It is much more possible than achieving somebody elses body.

Oh, and I do think Lesnar is an impressive beast. He is definetley exactly what 'strong' looks like.

IIRC, he (Rollins) does a lot of compound work, but also curls. Cannot source it, although he does have one stand up thing talking about squatting a ton (500?) to get ready for a show with iggy pop.

This looks good, but since i am short 5"7" i need more bulk to look like a fitness lover in a formal shirt, I want to look a bit intimidating, it is like a compensation, i have "small man complex" and has kept me depressed all my life!
oggynosh wrote:Hey guys, I just opened this thread to know what's your LT physique goal with SL5x5, rippetoe or any other program..

Do u wanna get a body like Arnold's , or maybe u just want to get a body like Ronnie Coleman...which body type physique is your goal?

The physique I'd like to get would be one similar to Luke Guldan ... he won the GATORZ MR. FITNESS CONTEST of the WNBF

Dont say that man, I think when you're short it's easier for you to look bigger and stronger than a normal tall guy...
