I've been reading a LOT from this site. When I first took a look, I was 5'9" 155 lb (~82 cm, 70.5 kg if my math doesn't suck) and I could squat 225 lb one set, 5 reps on Rippetoe's SS program. However, I found out how bad my form was, and how most of it was due to a lack of mobility. I abandoned my program to focus on stretching.
Since the Stronglifts 5x5 starts with the bar, at what point should I add in the GOMAD? I see a lot of people who said they gained more fat and less muscle than they expected say it was because they weren't doing enough weight (or skipping workouts which isn't an issue for me). Do I wait until the weight is getting near my 5x5 max? I like the idea of starting light though... I want to make sure my back doesn't round during squats.
