It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places.  But I did. well, classic golf instruction definitely promotes lighter grip tension at address... but at the moment of impact, I am pretty sure grip power is very important. when tiger whip the club at >125mph, he probably would have to have a pretty good grip on the club to not send it flying into the gallery. check his forearms in the pic below to see if you agree...
