I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Im new on here and I plan to start stronglifts beginner program in November for a couple of months before switching to the intermediate program even though i meet the qualifications for it. i have only been working out for a year but only a month of that was weight training. The rest was bodyweight training. My strength stats are as follows:

bodyweight- 165 lbs. age 16 6'0''
Squat- 280 pounds, the first time I ever did this I managed to put up 250 lbs. I guess it was from a lot of pistol squats.
Deadlift- never tested my max but I can easily do 225
Bench Press- 145 lbs
Barbell Row- 155 lbs
overhead press- i have no idea, but i used to do 65 lbs for 3X10
Pullups- 8
Chinups- 13
Pushups- 42

Hi and welcome.

At your age you still have a lot of progression margin.
I would suggest to stick with the program for some months.

Start a log and post your achievements, questions, comments ... . This community is part of the success of this program ;)
I prefer to be called 'H' ;)

Thanks
My only question is if I can substitute barbell rows for inverted rows. Doing just bw exercises for the back isnt good enough because you cant progress like you would be with bench press. Then there would be a muscle imbalance. Also with pullups and inverted rows you are doing higher reps than 5X5 so there isnt as great of a strength benefit as barbell rows would give you
