I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

HI Sandi:

My sinuses have cleared up a bit now that the last couple of days have been dry and the nights have gotten a bit cooler. It seems to have gotten rid of a bunch of the mold sores.

Thanks Kathy, Joda, and Sandi for all your good wishes! Here are my numbers from last night.

workout 11/4/09

Squat
45lbs 1x5
60lbs 1x5
80lbs 5x5 Back to my personal best!
Squats felt heavy and I surprised myself for getting 5x5 on the first try but it felt really good.

BBRs
50lbs 5x5
Started my slow crawl upward again!

GMs
50lbs 5x5
Also added another 5lbs here just to keep up with my BBRs.

Bench
45lbs 1x5
60lbs 1x5
75lbs 5x5
Bench went pretty good considering we went out of sequence because all the flat beches were being used last night and we had to wait for one. By the time we got to bench my arms were tierd and my legs were too. Still I managed to add another 5lbs last night so not too bad.

Reverse Crunch 3x12

All in all a pretty good workout last night. Energy level stayed pretty high throw out. Maybe a benifit of Standard time? Don't know but I'll take it while I got it.

Workout 11/6/09

Friday was a good day.

Squats
45lbs 1x5
60lbs 1x5
80lbs 5x5

OHP
45lbs 1x5
50lbs 5x5

Deadlift
75 1x5
100lbs 1x5
130lbs 1x5 New PR!
My 1st pull at 75lbs turned into a BOR instead. When I realized what I was doing, I put the bar down looked at Barry and laughed! Guess I am going light on my BORs right now. Finally got myself settled down and warmed up. Thought the 130 was going to be much harder but it just came up nice and easy.

Didn't have anything left after the Deadlift so skipped the chins and Bridges. Will do more next time!

Great deadlift, X - congratulations!
I am usually totally wiped after I get a deadlift PR, too - which means I leave off the chins and bridges too. Not a good habit! :)

Nice D/L PR X! Heavy deads wipe me out too. Funny as it seems like such a simplistic exercise but it really takes a toll on the entire body.

Keeping an eye on your log for the upcoming squat PR.

Thanks Joda, James, and Sandi; your encouragement is welcome as always. Here are my numbers from last night.

workout 11/9/09

Squat
45lbs 1x5
65lbs 1x5
85lbs 5x5 New PR!
Squats felt heavy but I surprised myself and got all 5 sets on the first try. The last set wasn't very pretty but I'll take it. Think I will repeat this weight to try and improve my form before moving up again.

Bench
45lbs 1x5
60lbs 1x5
75lbs 5x5
Bench went pretty good. I stuck with 75lbs because I was without my favorite training partener and spotter who was home feeling punky :( . I figured I could pull this off the rack by myself without breaking form but was not sure of keeping form if I tried for 80lbs. Maybe next time.

BBRs
55lbs 5x5

GMs
55lbs 5x5

Reverse Crunch 3x12

All in all a pretty good workout last night. Got my Squat PR and am finally back to where I left off on BBR's and GM's. Slow and steady as they say. :)

Great job on the squats X! Hope your training partner's 'punkiness' eases up soon...then you'll be able to bust thru 80lbs. on bench!

85lbs 5x5
Last set on squats still feeling wobbly. Will repeat again on Friday.

OHP
45lbs 1x5
55lbs 5x5
Last still was still strong. Next week I'll increase the weight and see if I can finally do 60lbs.

Deadlift
75lbs 1x5
105lbs 1x5
135lbs 1x5
New PR, just 10lbs shy of BW now  .

Chinups
3, 2, 1 negs
These were hard after OHP and Deads

Prone Bridges
3x30

Nice workout! Looks like yours was similar to my most recent- OP and Deadlifts were hard, which made those negative pullups even harder..... I always feel so great on the first negative, and they seem to exponentially get harder!
20 yrs, female, 168 lbs
Current goals:
Fix back, Squat and Deadlift back at my PRs, Bench 125lbs, OP 85 lbs
PRs (5x5): Squat 185, Deadlift 175, Bench 95, Press 65
