How to Lose Fat While Eating Junk Food. I’ve been stressing on this site that it’s ok to eat junk food as long as you eat healthy 90% of the time. Difference between a diet with 100% whole foods vs 90% isn’t worth it.
Ironically eating junk food keeps your hormones sharp when dieting strictly. This helps fat loss. Having junk meals is also psychologically easier: no more feelings of guilt or anxiety or of “missing out”.

Thanksgiving Tips. I won’t celebrate Thanksgiving Thursday since we don’t in Belgium. But here are some tips if you live in the US and will celebrate.
If you’re doing StrongLifts 5×5 Monday/Wednesday/Friday:
- Go to the gym as planned on Friday; or
- Take Friday off and go to the gym on Monday.
Go with the 2nd option if your gym isn’t open/you don’t have time. Do Monday the workout you missed on Friday. No need to lower the weight, you’ll most likely feel stronger from the longer rest.
Eat what you feel like on Thursday. Get back to your diet (8 nutrition rules) on Friday. Or have left-overs Friday and get back to your diet Saturday. Remember getting back to your diet/gym matters. Not how much junk food you ate.
