I really debated about starting a log. This journey gets very personal at times. It's hard to announce to the world things you didn't even want to admit to yourself. But that's why I did it. It needed to be right in front of me so I could deal with it head on. And I needed support to get through it. Who would have thought I'd find that here of all places. But I did. These guys have been a great help and encouragement through some tough times for me and they probably don't even realize it. - Pagangoddess

Thanks! It really was a great feeling when I was doing that last rep. As you know now too

Missed a couple of workouts due to sickness..

Squat 5x5 102,5kg: Ugh, perhaps a bit too long a break, my legs are pretty much dead right now.
Bench Press 5x5 67,5kg: Strange.. didn't stall on this. Well at least I'm getting some progress.
Press Row 5x5 40kg: decided to deload because I wasn't getting any progress. hopefully this time it'll be a bit better.
Dips 3x5 8,75kg: Nothing really worth mentioning with these, just the usual stuff.

Argh! Got a bad fever last weekend and had to spend the whole week in bed. Was almost 40 C several times. I'm not sure if this was the second or third day without fever but decided to pop into the gym to do a light wo just to see how I'd feel.

Squat 5x5 80kg: Not really that heavy on the legs but lifted my pulse to somewhere closer to 200 than 100. Seems like body's not yet recovered properly.
Fireman's pull up 1x10: Was a bit surprised how much faster I tired out than usually. I'll blame it on the sickness and having to be doing nothing for the whole last week.

Think I'll do a couple more lighter workouts gradually increasing the weight/intensity before starting to do the weights I was at before.

FFFUUUUU... Feel like I could hit anyone looking me a little funny right now. So f*cking frustrating that I had to deload on almost every lift, just 'cause I got sick twice in a row and had to lie in bed almost 2 weeks straight! And felt like crap during the whole workout.

Squat 5x5 90kg: Would've probably managed to do with 100kgs but I'd certainly got a huge case of doms, so trying to get my body used to squatting 3x again.
OHP 5x5 40kg: Tried with 47,5kg which I almost lifted before I got sick. Managed to do 2 reps on the first set, thought to hell with this and deloaded 'cause it would've been 0 for the rest sets otherwise.
Deadlift 1x5 105kg: At least I got progress on this.. Felt totally drained afterwards though.
Chin up 3x5 16.25kg: Well.. Got this up too, probably just because I was so pissed off about my other lifts..

Now I'm only hoping to recover as quickly as possible. I don't if there's anything I hate more than being forced to lie in bed doing nothing because of a sickness..

Finally starting to get the weights back on track. Pretty decent workout.

Squat 5x5 105kg: Definitely felt the fatigue more now than before the sickness. Though I managed to go deeper than what I did with 102.5kg.
Bench Press 5x5 (3,3,2,2,2) 70kg: Not surprising considering I've been struggling with this from the start.
Press Row 5x5 42.5kg: Not any problems so far after the deload.
Dips 3x5 10kg: Starting to feel a little.
Dragon Flags 3x5: Almost managed to do one properly :D Surprising that even doing negatives and half assed reps on this has strengthened my abs more than any reverse crunches/sit ups I've done before.

Helped two guys with technique on squat and told them about stronglifts, will have to wait and see if I managed to get them join the band wagon with us :D

Squat 5x5 107.5kg: Dang.. Almost stalled on the second last rep. Strange how much heavier it was compared to 105kg. Left my legs shaking for awhile.
OHP 5x5 (5, 3, 4, 3, 3) 45kg: Too drained after squats.
Deadlift 1x5 107.5kg: Nothing unusual, getting heavier little by little.
Pull ups 3x5 (5, 4, 3) 15kg: Still not getting this :x

Did only squats as I'm going riding tomorrow and can't really do that if my whole body hurts.

Squats 5x5 (5,5,5,5,1) 110kg: Damn, damn, damn and damn! So close to 1.5xBW. Went accidentally too low on the last set and hit the safety rack causing me to mess up the form and had to bail. Sigh.. Should've guessed I wasn't going to get 1.5xBW before stalling at least once. Strange thing was though, that my arms were shaking afterwards when I was driving away from the gym.

Had to cut the workout short because of some school stuff..

Squat 5x5 110kg: That's it.. 1.5xBW right there baby.. 8)
Dips 3x5 11.25kg: Getting heavy.. Started to shake a little bit on the last reps.

Can't really believe how easily the lifts have gone up. I've got way more progress during this short 4 month period than I've ever done before..
Oh and in case anyone's interested, 4 months.. Including two weeks of being sick and not lifting at all. That's how long it took for me to reach 1.5xBW in squat..

Seems I just can't finish workouts lately. Lost track of time when I was reading, and had to cut the workout short 'cause I was heading out with buddies.

Squat 5x5 110kg: Repeated the weight because I lost form pretty horribly last time. Went up a lot smoother this time, though I messed up counting on the last set and am not sure if I did 4 or 5 reps. One thing that worries me though, was that on a couple of reps I felt pain on my left hip and don't really know why. I didn't change/do anything differently when it didn't hurt, at least I don't think so. Had it in the earlier workout also and then it was sore for two days.. Has anyone else felt something similar?
Bench Press 5x5 (5,5,4,2,1) 70kg: Argh! Died completely all of a sudden. Did manage to improve by two reps in all of the first three sets. Yay!
Dips 3x5 (5,4,3) 12.5kg: Hmm strange.. wasn't expecting to stall so early since 11.25 didn't feel THAT hard. Well, two more tries left..

Took two weeks off 'cause I had to help my dad out with repairs at their summer house during Easter.

Squats 3x5 110kg: Surprisingly easy considering I haven't done anything for two-three weeks. Though it did left me shaking like hell.
Bench Press 3x5 (3, 3, 2) 70kg: Hard, yet didn't feel like a failure for some reason.
Press Row 3x5 42.5kg: Almost didn't feel it anywhere.
Dips 3x5 10kg: Not much to say, hard and really felt it afterwards.
Dragon Flags 3x5: Almost two proper ones and the rest were negatives.

Left the gym feeling great at managing to get back lifting without too much difficulties. :)

Gah! Hadn't recovered properly from riding on Sunday. Rode about 2,5 hours total, until I started getting cramps on my legs, feet and hands forcing me to stop. The track was in great condition though and I could practice whips on one of the jumps.

Squats 2x5 110kg, 1x5 100kg: Form suffered so badly in the second set that I decided to deload. Will probably need to deload to 90 or 95 and start to concentrate on form again. I also need to switch to doing 3x5 regularly because I'm not recovering fast enough for riding otherwise.
OHP 5x5 40kg: Easy peasy, now if I could just get the 50 up that got stuck before Easter.
Deadlift 1x5 110kg: This is really starting to feel. Though because of the deload/less sets in squats, I could've done more.
Pull ups 3x5 (5,5,4) 15kg: Damn! Almost managed this. Went better than I thought 'cause it's been 3 weeks since I've done any pull ups.

All in all a pretty good workout, even though deadlift was the only one progressing.

Damn... When I was nearly finished with my workout, in comes 190cm +100kg pure muscle and starts blasting below parallel squats with 195kg. The guy was doing 7 reps in a set  Made me kinda feel I need to eat more :D

Squats 5x5 95kg: Trying to concentrate on bettering my form. Depth is good and my back is straight but it just doesn't feel quite right when coming up. Perhaps I should video myself doing these so everyone in here can bash at my bad form
Bench Press 5x5 (5,5,5,4,3) 70kg: Considering the last time I tried, it went 3,3,2 this was a major improvement.
Press Row 5x5 45kg: Nope, still doesn't feel anywhere.
Dips 3x5 12.5kg: Whew! The last rep was so wonky and shaky I'm surprised no one at the gym bursted laughing. It looked funny even to me.
Dragon Flags 3x5: Still negatives.. Though this has made a definite improvement on my core and I'm just waiting for the day I'm able to do it properly.

Squats 5x5 97.5kg: Still concentrating on form. Couple of minor hickups in a few reps, otherwise pretty decent form wise.
OHP 5x5 (5,5,4,2,2) 45kg: Bit of a problem with this.. Well, we all know the drill, two tries left and a deload.
Deadlift 8x5 112.5kg: Whew! After doing one set and hardly feeling it I thought 'what the hell, let's see how many sets I can manage!'. If I'd changed to mixed grip I probably could've gotten a couple of sets more but since it feels kinda like cheating to me I decided to call it a day after my grip started to fail in the 8th set. I was really surprised I could do so many sets when my best effort so far had been 1x5 with 110kgs and that totally killed me. I bet I'm going to feel this in the morning though
Chin ups 3x5 10kg: Surprisingly easy considering I did them after the DL session.

Spent 3,5 hours at a track. Managed to get a decent number of laps in with better speed than before. Also continued practicing whips and this time threw the bike properly sideways

Did a light workout for recovery from riding yesterday.

Squats 5x5 80kg
Bench Press 5x5 60kg
Press Row 5x5 47.5kg
Dips 3x5 13.25kg: A lot easier than before, probably because of going so easy on squats and bp.
Dragon flags 3x5: YAY! Did a couple proper ones, well, at least they weren't just negatives

Hey Ghost. Thought I'd drop in to see how scary things were over here. Not too bad. Except this was a little scary.
